Medvedev: Russia needs simplified labor migrant procedures
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) – Russia needs simplified procedure for legal attraction of migrants to public utilities, construction and agriculture, which lack labor force, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday.
"We need to consider the issue of simplified procedures under which foreign citizens could be legally, I emphasize, legally drawn to these spheres because they are labor short," Medvedev said.
Medvedev also said that the procedures of labor permit issuance for highly qualified foreign experts must be simplified as well. He said that the Economic Development and the Labor ministries had readied a bill solving the issue.
